A new Mainstreet Research poll shows Doug Ford’s Conservatives support has fallen to record lows, with only 20.8% of voters saying they’d vote to re-elect the Premier.

If an election were held Today, Ford’s Conservatives would place third, behind the NDP at 22.8% and the Liberals at 36.8%

The poll comes as Ford deals with a massive backlash to his plan to slash health care, education and social services.

Mainstreet Research had this to say about the results:

“More and more Ontarians are turning away from Doug Ford as his support is collapsing,” said Quito Maggi, President and CEO of Mainstreet Research. “We have never seen an imcumbent premier reach these depths in popular opinion with barely a year into his mandate.”

Ford’s net favourability rating is an abysmal -53.5% which is almost 20 points lower than Wynne -35.3% April 30th, 2018.
